About Clarified

Clarified cocktails represent a timeless art of mixology, skillfully embraced by master bartenders worldwide. When you ask any enthusiastic bartender about clarified cocktails, their eyes will light up as they explain the fascinating process. Let's break it down... Clarified cocktails are crafted using a technique known as clarification or milk washing. This involves blending-infused cocktails with a dairy product to form a curdled mixture, which is then meticulously filtered to remove solids from the liquids. The result is a nearly transparent liquid that boasts a richer and silkier texture. This technique was first documented in 1711 by Mary Rockett and has been celebrated by historical figures like Benjamin Franklin. Due to the extensive filtering process these cocktails have not been widely available, inspiring us to honor the original 1711 recipe while infusing it with modern flavors. As we like to... good things take time.
